Review of L'EpicureDuring my recent hiking trip, I chose L'Epicure based on its strategically convenient location at the intersection of GR571 and GR57. The B&B features a bakery below, which seems to take precedence over the guest accommodations upstairs. Unfortunately, this led to a somewhat rushed welcome upon my arrival. While my room was clean and spacious, ideal for settling down after a long day, there was an unexpected disturbance around 0:30 a.m. Due to a truck unloading-likely related to the bakery. Such disturbances may not be ideal for light sleepers. Breakfast service lacked efficiency as we had to remind staff about our pre-communicated time. Nevertheless, the breakfast offered was satisfactory, aligning with typical bakery fare. The location is advantageous for travelers arriving by train, close to a charming square featuring a quality Italian restaurant.
